ATLANTICADE After Hours – Mexicali Rosa’s Compound

The Place To Be!

So you’re done riding for the day, checked out the vendors one last time, and now you’re ready to relax and have some fun. Well ATLANTICADE 2016 has you covered!

ATLANTICADE will feature three nights of live entertainment, a charity event, and outdoor fun under the stars at their after-hours Mexicala’s compound located adjacent to Main Street between Tim Hortons (Alma St.) and Mexicali Rosa’s (Botsford St.).

Things kick off on Thursday, June 23rd from 9 pm to midnight with the sounds of the Old School band. Admission to the event is free to both participants and the public.

Friday night, June 24th once again from 9 pm to midnight is dubbed “Ladies Night – Bikers Battle Breast Cancer”. Admission is free but open only to registered participants. Tickets will be distributed to those who have registered.

Those attending will make a donation to breast cancer which will give them a chance to win one of the ten door prizes available that night. The 10th and final door prize will be a 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan 650, donated by Kawasaki Canada through local dealer G Bourque, which will be drawn for just before midnight. Zack Lane will provide the entertainment during the evening.

Finally, on Saturday, June 25th things will start early with a Tattoo contest beginning at 7 pm followed by a Beard contest at 7:30 pm. At 9 pm the annual “Order of Good Cheer” will take place with live entertainment and door prizes.

This event offers free admission as well to registered participants and tickets will be distributed through registration.

“This will be a party atmosphere each night right in the heart of the downtown restaurant / bar district” says chairman Dale Hicks. “Three separate events all unique in their own way that will provide participants with change of scenery away from the festival grounds but still within walking distance”.

It will be a perfect way to end off each day!
